United's youngsters bounced back in style as they thumped Kidlington 6-0 at The Polythene UK Stadium
last night.
Sam McNally (pen), Jack Lonsdale, Chris Zoldan (2) Liam Elliott and Ben Brown on his debut got the goals as United returned to winning ways.

United's youngsters suffered their first loss in the Allied Counties North Division as they were beaten at
The Polythene Uk Stadim by Aylesbury FC 3-1.
A disastrous opening saw United 2-0 down early on before Sam McNally responded from the penalty spot but the visitors added another goal on the break to inflict United's first defeat.
04.03.10 DUO DOUBT FOR AYLESBURY CLASH!!
United's youngsters have two doubts ahead of tonights Allied Counties North Division fixture against
Aylesbury FC at The Polythene UK Stadium (7-45pm).
Sam Wright (pictured) and Mike Temple are both doubtful for the clash which sees United's youth side looking for an eighth straight league win and to keep their 100% record up to date.
Aylesbury currently sit in third position and remain unbeaten after seven matches also although they have been held to draws by North Leigh and Kidlington.
Manager Darren Teggart expects a tough clash "To be unbeaten after seven matches you know you are going to be up against a good side and this will be a tough test no doubts but they will be looking at our record and thinking exactly the same thing"

The Under 18's have become victims of the weather again as their Allied Counties home league fixture against Abingdon Town was postponed as part of the pitch remained frozen.
The match will now take place on Thursday 4th February with a 7-45pm kick off.
27.01.10 CUP AGONY FOR UNITED!!
United suffered last gasp cup agony as they went down 3-2 against Hanwell Town in the Allied Counties
League Cup.
A last minute strike sealed the victory for the visitors with top scorer Chris Zoldan grabbing both United goals.

As expected with the freeze gone the next issue was going to be water on the pitches as the snow and the ice begin to melt.

There was no let up in the big freeze at The Polythene UK Stadium with the Under 18's League Cup clash against Hanwell Town due to be played tonight being postponed.
Weather permitting the match will now take place next Monday 18th January with a 7-45pm kick off.

United's youngsters who were scheduled to entertain Hanwell Town in the Youth League Cup at The Polythene UK Stadium this evening have seen the game postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
No new date has yet been set for the fixture.
01.12.09 TWO WINS IN TWO DAYS FOR YOUTH!!
The Under 18's defied the odds of playing two games in two days as they completed the double over Didcot Town and extended their 100% record.
United won the game 4-0 with the goals coming from Frank Harrison, Chris Zoldan (2) and Jamie Amer (right).

United's youngsters progressed to the Quarter-Finals of the Oxfordshire Youth Cup with a thumping 9-2 win at Thame Youth this afternoon.
The goals came from Jack Lonsdale, Guy Benoist, Conor Allmond, Sam Burton, Sam Whadcock, David Craig and Chris Zoldan (3).

The Under 18's scheduled fixture against Didcot Town last night was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch following heavy weekend rain.
05.11.09 uNITED SPARKLERS GO TOP!!
United's youngsters made it 5 wins out of 5 as they produced some first half fireworks at KIdlington
scoring twice before seeing out the game for a 2-1 win.
The goals came from Conor Allmond and Chris Zoldan as United moved two points clear at the top of the table and at the same time ended Kidlington's unbeaten record.
01.11.09 ENGLAND GO FOR THE WRIGHT STUFF!!
Young striker Sam Wright who is in his third season with Witney United has had a call up for a Regional
trial for the English Schools FA at Under 18 level.
In his three seasons with the club he has played for both Youth and Reserves and this season has scored 5 goals for the Reserves and also 3 for the Under 18's.
Wright's call-up is a second boost for the young squad this season as both goalkeeper Eddie Dale and midfielder/striker Callum McKinnon have been part of the Oxfordshire Under 18's squad.
30.10.09 UNITED MAKE IT FOUR ON THE BOUNCE!!
United kept their 100% record with a 4-0 win at Abingdon Town with in-form Chris Zoldan grabbing all four goals for a third hat-trick in three successive Allied Counties matches.
21.10.09 HOT ZOLDAN DOES IT AGAIN!!
Chris Zoldan made it an astonishing eleven goals in four matches as United won 4-2 at North Leigh last night with Sam Wright grabbing the other goal as they moved 2nd in the table.
14.10.09 ZOLDAN TREBLE AS UNITED WIN THRILLER!!
A second hat-trick in three days from Chris Zoldan helped give United a 4-3 win over league leaders Abingdon United at The Polythene UK Stadium on Monday.
United's other goal came from full back Tom Ross with his first goal for the club.
06.10.09 YOUNGSTERS CUP HEARTACHE!!
A great performance from the lads who pushed Conference side Basingstoke Town all the way but were cruelly undone by a breakaway goal midway through the second half as they lost 1-0 in their FA Youth Cup clash.
United pushed hard for an equaliser but just could not find the back of the net. Dave Craig, Frank Harrison, Callum McKinnon and Chris Zoldan all came close in a sustained spell of Witney pressure. The home side celebrated the final whistle with a mixture of hysteria and relief, our lads walked off to a deserved ovation! As the chairman said on the bus home “we're proud of you”.
04.10.09 YOUTH SET FOR CUP TEST!!
United's youngsters face a stern test on Monday evening when they make the trip to face Basingstoke Town in the FA Youth Cup 2nd Qualifying Round.
Having battled their way past Flackwell Heath in the last round the difficulty level has been cranked up a notch as they travel to face the Conference Youth Section side.
Basingstoke have actually played two matches in the competition already knocking out Binfield (3-0) and Slough Town (2-0).
They have also had an impressive start in their league campaign winning two and drawing one of their games in the Southern Section A.
Any supporters wishing to travel to the game are reminded that their is a coach leaving the Polythene UK Stadium at 5-00pm with the cost just £5 per head.
29.09.09 DATE SET FOR STOKE TRIP!!
United's trip to Basingstoke Town in the FA Youth Cup 2nd Qualifying Round has now been confirmed for Monday 5th October with a 7-45pm kick off.
The match will be played at The Camrose the home of Basingstoke with a place in the 1st Round Proper up for grabs.
28.09.09 iNJURY WOE FOR TEMPLE!!
Following the victory over Flackwell Heath yesterday there was some bad news that went with the result and the subsequent draw to travel to Basingstoke Town.
Mikey Temple who suffered a heavy fall during the match has undergone X-Rays and they have revealed that he has a double fracture of the wrist. He is expected to be sidelined for four weeks and will miss the trip to Basingstoke and likely to miss the local derby trip to face North Leigh.
27.09.09 CUP JOY FOR UNITED!!
United brought a smile back to the face of the club this afternoon as they beat Flackwell Heath 3-2 in the FA Youth Cup with goals from Frank Harrison and Sam Wright (2).
They will now travel to Basingstoke Town in the next round.
21.09.09 YOUTH CUP TIE RE-ARRANGED!!
United's FA Youth Cup tie against Flackwell Heath has been postponed for this evening.
The match will now be played on Sunday 27th September with a 12-00pm kick off at The Polythene UK Stadium. Witney United Football Club would like to go on record with their thanks to both Flackwell Heath FC and the Football Association with this late re-arrangement.
20.09.09 YOUTH READY FOR BIG NIGHT!!
United's youngsters take centre stage on Monday evening when they entertain Flackwell Heath in the FA Youth Cup on Monday evening at The Polythene UK Stadium (7-45pm).
Having won their opening league fixture United will be hoping for a repeat result which would see them clinch a place in the 2nd Qualifying Round.
The winners of tomorrow's tie will be on the road when they will face the winners of either Slough Town or Basingstoke Town.
Any supporters wishing to cheer the youngsters on should note that admission is £2 for Adults and £1 for Concessions.

The Allied Counties League North Division has reduced in numbers by one this week with the news that Carterton are unable to raise a squad for the season.

United's clash at home to Carterton which was due to be played on Monday 14th September has been postponed as the Kilkenny Lane side can't raise a team. The match will be played at a later date in the season.
11.09.09 YOUTH OFF TO WINNING START!!
The Under 18's got their league campaign off to a winning start last night when they won 2-0 at Didcot Town in the Allied Counties North Division.
United's goals came from Chris Zoldan and Callum McKinnon as they secured maximum points at the nPower Loop Meadow Stadium.
10.09.09 UNITED TO FACE THE HEATHENS!!
United discovered their FA Youth Cup opponents last night as Flackwell Heath beat Cove 3-1 to set up a clash at the Polythene UK Stadium.
A date has yet to be confirmed for the match but will take place in the week commencing Monday 21st September.
Meanwhile the youngsters get their league season underway this evening when they face Didcot Town in the Allied Counties North Division.
04.09.09 SEASON UNDERWAY!!
The Allied Counties League North Division kicked off last night with two matches with Abingdon United beating our first opponents Didcot Town 6-1 and Aylesbury FC and North Leigh sharing the spoils with a 1-1 draw.
United kick off their campaign next week when they make the trip to South Oxfordshire to face Didcot Town on Thursday 10th September.

United's youngsters continued their impressive pre-season campaign when they beat Oxford City 4-3 last night with goals from Conor Allmond, Sam McNally, Frank Harrison and Ricky Bridges.
27.08.09 YOUTH IN CITY ACTION!!
The Under 18's are in action this evening when they take on Allied Counties Premier League side Oxford City at The Polythene UK Stadium.
This will be the last game preparing for the new season for the youngsters before they travel to Didcot Town on 10th September for their league opener.
12.08.09 YOUTH FRIENDLY POSTPONED!!
United's friendly with Thatcham Town last night was postponed as United were unable to field a side due to injury and unavailability.
10.08.09 VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED!!
United are looking for volunteers to help with the running of the Allied Counties Under 18s team this season.
We have two positions that we are looking to fill to help the season run smoothly. A new fixtures secretary is required and also a turnstile operator for matchday. Games are normally played on a Monday evening at The Polythene UK Stadium and anybody taking up these roles would get to see all matches free of charge.
Admission prices for the Under 18's have now been confirmed for the forthcoming season with Adults £2, OAP and Under 16's £1 and Under 12's FREE.
Any season ticket holders are entitled to free entry to all Allied Counties League and Cup matches.

05.08.09 YOUTH KICK OFF IN STYLE!!
The Under 18's kicked off their pre-season in excellent fashion with a 4-0 win at Banbury United with goals from Sam Wright, Cameron Lagan, OG and Chris Zoldan.
They have also been awarded a Bye in the 1st Round of the Allied Counties League Cup.
13.07.09 YOUTH BUILDING UP NICELY!!
United's Under 18s are preparing for the new season and the first couple of training sessions have seen what looks to be the moulding of a strong squad.
However, like all clubs, we are keen to look at as many players as possible. Anyone who will be 18 after 1st Sept 2009 is welcome to come along to Tuesday or Thursday training at Witney United Football Club starting at 7pm.
Players need to have reached the age of 16 by 1st March 2010. The team will be playing in Allied Counties Youth Football Lwague North Division, which provides an excellent standard of football, as well as the county and FA Youth Cup. The Under 18's have returned to the FA Youth Cup this season and in this morning's draw after getting a Bye in the Preliminary Round we were handed a home tie against Flackwell Heath or Cove in the 1st Qualifying Round.
