chris webb (Goalkeeper)
Signed in the Summer from Southern League side Didcot Town where he made 118 appearances, won the Hellenic Premier Division title and an FA Vase winner's medal. Previous to that he was at Swindon Supermarine where he also won a Hellenic Premier Division title.
Liam Illsley (Defender)
Aspirational right sided defender, signed in the Summer from Southern League side Oxford City. Was part of the School of Excellence programmes at both Reading and Southampton before joining Aldershot Town.
Ben Reynolds (Defender)
Joined in the Summer having played for Leeds Met Carnegie in the Northern Counties League. Cultured and stylish defender who has previously been with Carterton.
Omar Takriti (Defender)
Returned to the club this season for a second spell. Excellent young defender who is sure in the tackle, adept in the air, and reads the game well. Has previously played with Oxford City, Abingdon United and Brackley Town.
Neil Maskell (Defender)
Strong, quick defender who resigned for a second spell with the club in 2 seasons ago from North Leigh. Has excellent positional sense and a great organiser.
Previously with Witney Town and Chipping Norton Town.
Jon steedman (Defender)
Left sided defender who was a member of the Oxford City double winning side. Returns to the club for a second spell signing from Thame United in the summer having started the season at Carterton.
Andy Marriott (Defender)
Consistent and reliable defender who joined in the summer from Hungerford Town, after having been an integral part of Oxford City's double winning Spartan League side. Formerly with Didcot Town, Abingdon United and Abingdon Town.
Dean Smith (Defender)
No nonsense full back signed from Bicester Town in November 2007. Excellent attacking full back whose crossing sees as much a useful ally in attack as in defence.
Vinny Byfield (Defender)
Signed for the club in October 2007 from Bicester Town. Powerful and experienced defender who can play at centre-back or on the left hand side. Has previously played for Brackley Town and Corby Town.
Jermaine Ferreira (Midfielder)
Signed in the summer from Abingdon United. Previously with Witney Town, Abingdon Town, Oxford City, Thame United, Maidenhead and Brackley Town. Exciting player with quick feet and a turn of pace.
Stuart Douglas (Midfielder)
An industrious, tenacious and courageous player who joined the club at the start of the 2006-07 season from Oxford City. Never fails to give 100% and is a firm favourite with the supporters. Also previously with Abingdon Town.
Luke Brandon (Midfielder)
Signed for the Blanketmen in September 2007 from Ardley United where he was Player of the Year, after spells with Headington Amateurs, Didcot Town and Abingdon United. An industrious and consistent performer who provides good delivery at set-pieces and an excellent crosser of the ball.
Jimmy Griffin (MIdfielder)
Another player to join in the summer from Oxford City. Jimmy is a tireless midfielder who loves to break up the oppositions play. Technically gifted footballer with good vision and passing ability. Formerly with Swindon Supermarine, Bracknell Town, Yate Town and Devizes Town.
Harry Burnley (Midfielder)
Quick and tricky player who signed from Oxford City last season. Good goals to games ratio for a wide player who won two Hellenic League Championship medals while at North Leigh. Has also worn the colours of Witney Town and Cirencester Town.
Kevin Lewis (Midfielder)
A major signing who arrived at the club in September from Abingdon United. Regarded as probably the best player in the county at what he does. An attacking and creative midfielder who loves to get beyond the strikers and get amongst the goals. Formerly with Carterton and North Leigh.
John McMahon (Striker)
Powerful and aggresive hitman who is a real handful for any defence. A great hold up player who brings others into the game as well as netting his share of goals. Can also play in midfield or centre-half. Signed for the club in July 2004 from Quarry Nomads and has previously been with Oxford City, Carterton and Abingdon Town.
Andrew Younie (Striker)
Joined the club in September 2007 after a short spell with Abingdon United following his release by Oxford United. Skillful and quick striker with two great feet and an ability to make things happen.
Lewis Brownhill (Striker)
Skillful striker with electric pace. Started his career at Manchester City but after failing to secure a full-time contract opted for a career in the RAF and is now stationed locally at RAF Brize Norton. Joined the club in September having previously been with Witton Albion and represents the RAF representative side.
Jed Riddy (Striker)
Pacy young striker who has progressed through the club's youth system. Held in high esteem throughout the club and a real prospect for the future. Impressive performances in both the Under 18's and the Reserves where he has been a regular goalscorer have seen him establish himself in the first team squad.
gary wickens (Striker)
Combative striker who is good in the air, signed from Didcot Town in the Summer. Previosuly with Banbury United, Brackley Town and Oxford City.
andy lyne (Manager)
Vastly experienced and sucessful manager, now commencing his 26th season in non league football with over 1000 games in charge. Previously with Pressed Steel, Cirencester Town, Banbury United, Bicester Town, Marlow, Burnham, AFC Newbury, Wantage Town, Oxford City, Witney Town and Didcot Town.
Kevin McGreskin (Assistant Manager)
Worked with Lyne at Oxford City last year having previosuly been with United. Having played non league football in Scotland, Germany and Holland he moved into coaching and has worked at proffessional clubs with their youth teams in England and Scotland. Also an FA tutor who delivers FA Coaching courses.
Andy Leach (Coach)
Joined the clubs coaching staff in the close season. Established himself as a real legend with football in the town playing over 400 games for Town in a spell stretching over 10 seasons. As a player played with his heart on his sleeve and represented Witney Town and Oxford City before moving into coaching at Chipping Norton Town.
Kevin Kennedy (Coach)
Kevin also worked with Andy Lyne at Oxford City last season and has a wealth of experience at all levels in the game. In his younger and slimmer days he was offered a contract at Bristol Rovers before a badly broken ankle ruled him out of a career in professional football. Went on to carve out a successful career in non league football including an excellent spell at Stamford.
