With the first team match being called off United's youngsters earned a break to avoid another three matches in a week and the senior players made sure of no surprises.
The visitors held out well for the opening half an hour before Ben Thompson glanced home a header from Tom Butler's delightful free-kick.
Two minutes later and the lead was doubled when Butler sent in another free-kick and this time it was Ani Odihambo who reacted quickest to flick the ball home.
The second half saw the goals come more regularly and it was that man Odihambo who fired home at the second attempt after his first effort was blocked on the line.
Just before the hour and it was 4-0 when Gary Wickens watched on as the ball came back of the crossbar but Andrew Younie prodded the ball home.
The visitors then got a reward for their efforts when Jon Okole upended a striker in the box and Jenningscalmly slotted home the resultant penalty kick.
This seemed to stir Witney back into action and with quarter of an hour remaining a loose ball was swept into the bottom corner by Stuart Cattell.
Five minutes later and Andrew Styles long range effort was well saved by the keeper but Odihambo sensed the chance of a hat-trick and fired home.
Two goals in the last five minutes from Wickens the first a header at the back post and the second a decent individual effort.
United astonishingly hit the woodwork eight times during the match as they got a decent run out before next Saturday's league match with Ascot United.

There was no home comforts for United this afternoon in their first fixture at The Polythene UK Stadium since September as they went down to Shrivenham.
It was a flying start for United with just ten minutes gone when Chris Zoldan pounced to open the scoring.
From there the first half went downhill as the visitors scored three times without reply to lead 3-1 at the interval.
The second half saw a much improved display from United but the only reward they got came right at the death when Cameron Lagan fired home.

United's young side lost their 100% league record at Easington Sports this afternoon with a tired looking display.
The home side took the initiative early in the game and held a 2-0 lead at the interval as United also squandered a number of chances.
The second half saw much of the same as United missed efforts on goal and the home side scored twice more to lead 4-0.
United's consolation goal was a stunning effort from substitute Frank Harrison who curled the ball home from distance five minutes from time.
31st october 09 challenge cup 1st round
abingdon united 2 (Adeleye 84, Munday 87)
witney united 0
United bowed out to their higher leagued opponents but only after they gave them a massive scare in the first half of a compelling cup tie.
The young United side took the game by the scruff of the neck from the off and some lovely interplay between Conor Allmond and Cameron Lagan resulted in Chris Zoldan hitting a snap shot which Matthew Hutton held.
Ian Moore in the United goal was then called into action when a deep cross was met by the head of Dwayne Adeleye but Moore blocked not only the header but also the follow up.
United were then denied a stunning goal by the frame of the goal as Andrew Styles thumped a shot from 25 yards which had Hutton beaten but it came back off the crossbar.
Hutton was having a decent afternoon in the home side's goal and he made a spectacular one handed save to deny Lagan a goal with a curling effort from the edge of the box.
Styles was causing problems running from deep and he latched onto some hold up play by Sam Wright but again Hutton was equal to the shot.
Jamie Munday thought he had then scored for the home side when he flicked a header from Adeleye's cross but Moore reacted brilliantly to push out.
After the break it was Abingdon who caused more of a threat as they began to get on top and Munday was again just inches away as he poked a cross from Andy McMahon just past the post.
Joe Parker has been rattling in the goals for Abingdon this season and he twice went close as he pulled a shot wide of goal but also saw Moore scramble a low shot wide.
The opening goal came sickeningly for United just six minutes from time when a corner was met by the head of Adeleye which went in off the underside of the crossbar.
Three minutes from time and the scoreline was given a very flattering look as Moore saved from Parker but was injured in the process and lying on the floor, the game went on and eventually found its way to Munday who poked home from close range to seal United's fate.

Ten minutes after the break the lead was extended further when Wright grabbed his second of the game before the visitors reduced the arrears to two again.
It was to be United's day though and a free flowing move from one penalty area to the other ended with Wright seeing his shot saved and Cameron Lagan firing home the rebound.
There was still time for a consolation for the visitors but United won through with a side which contained just one player over the age of 19.
